Lightswitch, Powerswitch

  • Power switch for saving energy by reducing the lamp power
  • Light switches bridge the ignition time of lamps by switching on incandescent lamps during the run-up-time of the discharge lamps
  • Special lamp sockets for hot-restrike ignition

Technology package with savings potential supply units consist of the following

  • Ballast
  • Ignitor
  • Capacitor

They have been perfectly matched to each other and are delivered in a fixed housing. This offers a clear savings potential by reducing the time required for installation and precludes wiring mistakes.

Lamp holders for hot-restrike ignition
On principle, the application of hot restrike igniters requires lampholders which are particulary developed for that purpose. They are designed to withstand a dielectric strength of up to 20 kV and feature special, directly connected cables. BAG electronics offers enclosed lampholders. Due to high ignition voltages the installation in luminaires apply extended requirements in case of creepage and clearance distances. The limit values are defined in the norm for luminaires DIN EN60598.
