BAG再一次率先推出新一代T5, T8 及 TC-L燈用電子鎮流器，並且重新定義了鎮流器的性能標準：BAG全新BCS PRIMUS系列產品的能效等級達到A2 BAT, 成為非調光電子鎮流產品等級中能效級別最高的產品。“Luminaire suppliers are now able to promote their products with a top-of-the-notch energy efficiency benefit,“ states Cuma Yuecel, product manager responsible for the growing electronic control gear sector for fluorescent lamps at BAG electronics in Germany.

Best-in-Class in terms of compact dimensions: Standard Housing 280 x 30 x 21 mm is more compact than ever.
The new PRIMUS range is engineered on a new platform basis, reducing the complexity and housing size: It´s a mere 280x30x21 mm thin and slim, “more compact than ever before and a market benchmark,” says Yuecel. Compact size means less space needed for the control gear, leaving the luminaire manufacturer more space for additional components, more freedom in design and opportunity of down-sizing his products.

Extended temperature tolerance from -20o up to +60o C, extended lifespan of 75.000 hours and 5 year warranty
The PRIMUS line is best in class in terms of quality and underlines this claim with the industry´s first 5 year full warranty. The temperature tolerance range has been extended to -20o up to +60 o C, making the electronic control gear suitable for temperature critical temperature parameters such as moisture-proof luminaires or industrial applications. The lifespan is extended to 75.000 hours at maximum tc-temperature (100.000 hours at tc= tc,max-10 K). „Thus, PRIMUS represents a committed contribution to functional safety and cutting-edge technology in today´s and tomorrow´s luminaires“.

Compliance with all norms for function, safety and EMV; VDE Q-tested makes it simple to substitute previous models with PRIMUS
With certification including VDE ENEC, VDE EMV, C-Tick, CCC and VDE Q-Tested, PRIMUS outperforms all international norms and standards for function, safety and EMV. The Q-Tested accreditation allows luminaire manufacturers to replace existing products by PRIMUS with a minimum of effort. “PRIMUS offers a package of technological benefits which will set the pace when it comes to energy efficiency, quality and safety,“ says Yücel.

Energy controlled warm start extends lamp lifespan, irrespective of switch frequency
Lamps live longer with PRIMUS electronic control gear. Moreover, their lifespan is extended irrespective of switch frequency. This means that “the lamp can be switched on and off as often as you like, this has no impact on its lifespan.“ A second switch-on mechanism enhances the lamp´s lifespan: the automatic second ignition start sets in unobtrusively, should the lamp not respond to the first ignition impulse. In addition, the safety switch-off mechanism in case of lamp defect offers safety on the highest technological level possible. The EOL-recognition complies with the stringent requirements of the EN 61347-2-3/Test 2 norm.

Multipower-technology allows the flexible application with varying wattages: efficient logistics, easy handling, reduced inventory
Luminaire manufacturers benefit from the flexibility of the PRIMUS range: A single electronic control gear accepts lamps of different wattages. This applies to T5 and T8 lamps as well as to all TC-L lamps, whether in single or twin configuration.
